Paralegal and legal intern with compassion for those incarcerated in jails and prisons.
This is a unique opportunity for candidate seeking broad range of hands on opportunities with civil and human rights, civil law, and criminal law.

Candidates must have the following attributes:
Pleasant and professional with strong organizational skills;
Able to prioritize among many inputs;
Able to present facts clearly and concisely, while conveying key points;
Able to multi-task, while working with minimal hands-on supervision;
Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Description of duties:
Responding to questions and comments on website and social media;
Submitting and tracking Open Records Requests;
Interviewing incarcerated individuals to document civil rights violations; and
Interviewing incarcerated individuals and their loved ones to generate a case file for attorneys’ review.
